New: Central 6.0 – discover all the new functionalities of your whiteboard!

Prowise Central 6.0 is ready for you! All Prowise touchscreens are equipped with five years of free and automatic over-the-air (OTA) updates. Your touchscreen will become newer and more advanced with every update. After updating your touchscreen to Prowise Central 6.0, you can get started with plenty of new functionalities and improvements.

What’s new in Central 6.0?

This update applies to the following series:

• Prowise Touchscreen Ultra
• Prowise Touchscreen Ten (G1, G2, G3)
• Prowise Touchscreen One (G1, G2)
• Prowise Touchscreen (G1, G2)

ProNote
With every Central update, using ProNote gets even easier. After the update, you can use the following new functionalities:

• Undo/Redo functionality
• Assign different actions to different pens
• Optimised mini tools
• Erase a part of a line instead of the entire line
• Fill colour for shapes
• Optimised zooming and panning behaviour
• Using physical tools, such as the ruler, on screen (Touchscreen Ultra only)

File manager
We’ve added an internal audio and video player to the file manager in Prowise Central. You can now play a video or audio fragment from the file manager. You can now also save local network connections in the file manager.

Boot up even faster!
We’ve significantly shortened the boot time of the touchscreen. Don’t waste any time and start your lesson right away.

Screencast via AirPlay and Chromecast
You can share and control the screens of up to ten devices simultaneously on the touchscreen via AirPlay and Chromecast (available for Mac and Windows devices). To operate the device using the touchscreen, download the TouchControl app onto the personal device. The names of the streamed devices are now also visible on the touchscreen.

Unlock with NFC
You can now also unlock the screen using a pre-programmed NFC card (optional accessory with your Prowise Touchscreen)**. Also new: set your own colour or wallpaper for the lock screen.

Prowise Screen Control
As an admin, Prowise Screen Control allows you to give users more rights:

• You can let users choose which screencasting protocols (AirPlay, Chromecast, Prowise Reflect) are activated or deactivated.
• You can give users access to the app store even when apps are pushed centrally and a PIN is active on screen.
• In addition, you can now find extensive information about the touchscreen or device on the device’s details page.

Update the Tips app in the Prowise Appstore after installing Central 6.0. Here you will find all the help you need to get started with your whiteboard.

Besides the above-mentioned features, there are more improvements and bug fixes that make using your Prowise Touchscreen even easier.

• Dozens of new educational apps have been added to the Prowise Appstore
• Optimised keyboard The keyboard now remains open whenever the system is focused on a text input field
• New input quick links on the desktop: USB-C front and USB-C back**
• Magic Remote: you can select a spotlight or a laserpointer function for the Magic Remote***
• Bug fixes: we’ve fixed several issues
