ProVitako chooses Prowise again

Prowise has secured another major win in the German education market. The influential cooperative ProVitako—comprising 42 public municipal IT service providers—has once again selected Prowise as its supplier of interactive displays for German schools. And it’s an impressive result: Prowise captured 6 of the 11 lots in the product-neutral tender, accounting for an extraordinary 8,119 digital whiteboards.

This means the existing partnership between ProVitako and Prowise is not only continuing but expanding on a remarkable scale. In total, Prowise was awarded 69% of the available tender lots, ensuring that thousands of classrooms across Germany will soon be equipped with high-quality, secure, and future-ready technology from Budel.

Recent research shows that 70% of German teachers use digital media daily in their lessons, yet there are still significant gaps in technical infrastructure. Schools in disadvantaged areas are particularly affected, often struggling with poor internet connections and outdated equipment. Students themselves identify slow internet, limited access to devices, and outdated learning materials as the biggest obstacles. With the Digitalpakt 2.0 programme, the German federal and state governments aim to close these gaps substantially in the coming years.
