Download Microsoft Office apps to your touchscreen
The Prowise Store is an app store in which you can easily install applications on your Prowise Touchscreen. In this app store, you can download several useful applications for education and productivity such as Microsoft Word, OneNote and Excel.
Do you have a ProLine+ touchscreen or Prowise Touchscreen? With the latest Prowise Central 2.0 update you can get started with the Prowise Store. This update will be ready for you on December 4th.
In the Prowise Store, you can easily download apps directly on your touchscreen. You can launch these apps directly from the Prowise Central App Launcher (My apps) or from your favourites bar in the Prowise Central menu. You can choose from several applications that are useful in both the education sector and the business environment. Think of Microsoft Word, OneNote and Excel. The range of applications will be expanded in the future.
There are more improvements to Central 2.0. For instance, it is now possible to secure various menus (and the Prowise Store) with a pin code. Setting the pin code is easy and user friendly. You can now prevent the wrong people from changing the touchscreen settings.
Once the update has been released, you will receive a notification when shutting down the touchscreen, provided you switched on ‘automatic updates’. From this notification you execute the update to install it automatically. You can turn on automatic updates in the Central settings menu – in the sidebar – under ‘General’ and ‘Updates’.
How do you execute the software update manually?
It is possible to update the software at any moment after it has been made available. You can execute the update manually in the Prowise Central settings menu.
- Shut down the internal Windows PC module.
- Hold down 5 fingers on the touchscreen for 2 seconds for the Prowise Central menu to pop up.
- Check whether Prowise Central is connected to the internet by clicking the tab ‘Connectivity’ in the sidebar of the settings menu.
